Supreme Court Rejects Fish Cos.' $45M Valdez Claim

Law360, New York (March 9, 2010, 1:54 PM EST) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has refused to consider two seafood processors' bid to collect about $45 million in punitive damages over the Exxon Valdez oil spill despite having reached a separate $8.5 million settlement with Exxon Mobil Corp., leaving them to pursue their claims in district court.
