Demand, Price Drops Send EnviroSolutions To Ch. 11

Law360, New York (March 11, 2010, 6:21 PM EST) -- Decreases in service demand and prices have prompted waste management company EnviroSolutions Holdings Inc. to file a prepackaged Chapter 11 plan in order to dump some of its $289 million in debt and clean up its balance sheet.

The company, along with 22 of its affiliates, submitted a voluntary petition, a prearranged reorganization proposal and first-day motions, including a request to have all cases consolidated, to the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Wednesday.
