Fraud Claims Trimmed From Gillette Razor Blade Suit

Law360, New York (March 11, 2010, 5:57 PM EST) -- A federal judge has tossed two fraud claims against Procter & Gamble Co. in a class action alleging the company charged $1 more for certain Gillette razor blades than others that were essentially identical.

Judge John Feikens of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan on Tuesday adopted a magistrate judge's recommendation to dismiss the two claims, overruling the objections of the plaintiffs, who reside in six different states.
