Chinese Phosphate Salts Dumped In US: Commerce

Law360, New York (March 12, 2010, 5:14 PM EST) -- A week after finding that Chinese potassium phosphate salts are being subsidized at a rate greater than 100 percent, the U.S. Department of Commerce had handed down a preliminary determination that Chinese producers are also dumping those salts into the U.S. market.

The U.S. International Trade Administration on Thursday said Chinese producers and exporters have sold the salts, which are used in cleaning products, fertilizers and food additives, at between 69.58 and 95.40 percent less than fair value.
