Eagle Rock Looks To Settle Unit-Holder Class Suit

Law360, New York (March 12, 2010, 6:46 PM EST) -- Eagle Rock Energy Partners LP is on the path to settling a putative class action and derivative lawsuit alleging the natural gas company’s proposed recapitalization is rigged to benefit insiders at the expense of the public unit-holders.

In response to the lawsuit, Eagle Rock has agreed to to revise its proxy statement to unit-holders, adding supplemental disclosures about the proposed recapitalization, according to a filing Friday with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
