Commerce Adjusts Duties On Chinese Garlic Cos.

Law360, New York (March 15, 2010, 12:34 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has recalculated anti-dumping duty margins for about a half-dozen Chinese garlic producers following a court's remand of several issues — including the valuation of garlic seed.

Commerce filed the final results of the redetermination on Friday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, which had also balked at the way the agency determined the value of the companies' use of water and the methodology it used to figure out the wage rate for the respondents' use of labor.
