Trends To Watch In 2007

Law360 (December 22, 2006, 12:00 AM EST) -- In the fast-changing world of intellectual property law, new trends in procedures and litigation emerge as quickly as new inventions. IP lawyers have pointed out several to look for in 2007, triggered by both Supreme Court rulings and corporate shifts in how IP is monetized.

The most highly anticipated trends are fallout from decisions in 2006 from the U.S. Supreme Court, including its decision in June in eBay Inc. v. MercExchange LLC.
