Don't Put GHGs Under CAA Purview: Chamber

Law360, New York (March 16, 2010, 12:48 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Chamber of Commerce has asked the Environmental Protection Agency to reconsider its recent decision that greenhouse gases should be regulated by the Clean Air Act, adding another voice to the chorus of opposition to the EPA's endangerment finding.

The chamber's Chief Legal Officer and general counsel Steven J. Law petitioned the EPA on Monday to drop its recent decision, saying bipartisan legislation and comprehensive international agreement would yield a better path to regulate GHGs.
