Barclays Sues Ex-Lehman Units Over $34M In Fees

Law360, New York (March 17, 2010, 6:31 PM EDT) -- Barclays Capital Inc. has accused funds owned by Trilantic Capital Partners and Lehman Brothers Real Estate Partners of breaching their fiduciary duties by failing to pay millions owed in connection with the placement of private equity business.

Barclays accused the defendants, which were previously Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. units, in two lawsuits filed Tuesday in the Supreme Court for the County of New York of not paying fees since the bank bought bankrupt LBHI's Private Investment Management or PIM business in September 2008.
