Vietnamese Fish Exporter Angles For Lower Duties

Law360, New York (March 22, 2010, 1:42 PM EDT) -- East Sea Seafoods LLC has lodged a complaint challenging the result of an International Trade Administration anti-dumping duty review subjecting the Vietnamese frozen fish exporter to a $2.11 penalty per kilogram.

Friday's complaint, lodged in the U.S. Court of International Trade, claims the company is entitled to the far lower $0.02-per-kilogram rate assessed to East Sea Seafoods Joint Venture Co. because the plaintiff is the successor to the joint venture company.
