Swiss Watchdog Tries To Revive $310M Swisscom Fine

Law360, New York (March 22, 2010, 5:49 PM EDT) -- Switzerland's competition watchdog said Monday it will appeal a recent court decision overturning its hefty 333 million Swiss franc ($309.8 million) fine against Swisscom AG for allegedly abusing its dominant market position to overcharge for cell phone termination fees.

The Swiss Competition Commission, or Comco, plans to challenge the Federal Administrative Court's March 9 ruling that the country's cartel laws do not cover telecommunications interconnection pricing and will bring the matter to the Federal Court.
