CIT Remands DOC Ruling On Chinese Honey Again

Law360, New York (March 25, 2010, 3:39 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has asked the U.S. Department of Commerce to reconsider yet again whether critical circumstances existed such that a group of Chinese honey importers knew of a surge in imports prior to a May 2001 preliminary determination of dumping.

Judge Richard K. Eaton of the U.S. Court of International Trade on Thursday said he would allow Commerce to reopen the record to consider information from different time periods, and granted the department's request for six months to hand in its remand results.
