Extradited UK Ex-CEO Put On House Arrest In DC

Law360, New York (March 26, 2010, 5:34 PM EDT) -- Alleged price-fixer Ian Norris, former CEO of industrial materials maker Morgan Crucible Co. PLC, reportedly has been released to house arrest in Washington, D.C., after his extradition from Britain earlier this week.

A source with knowledge of the case confirmed on Friday that Norris put up $200,000 in cash and agreed to meet the other bail conditions laid out by Chief U.S. Magistrate Judge Thomas J. Rueter of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania on Wednesday.
