Anchor Glass Settles Disclosure, IPO Charges

Law360, New York (January 4, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Lawyers sent out a call this week to people who bought stock in Anchor Glass Container Corp. after reaching a $5.5 million settlement over allegations involving the company’s disclosure to shareholders and its initial public offering.

The class includes anyone who bought shares of the company between Sept. 25, 2003 and Nov. 3, 2004. The original suit, which was filed in 2004 in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida, alleged that Anchor went public through an initial public offering in September 2003...
