County May Have Violated Pesticide Law: 2nd Circ.

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 2:17 PM EDT) -- A federal appeals court has overturned a lower court’s decision and ruled that Suffolk County, N.Y., may have violated federal regulations when it sprayed pesticides over creeks.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit made the ruling Tuesday and sent the case back to the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York for further review.
