Corrected: Sprint Nextel Loses Appeal On DBSD Claims

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 7:20 PM EDT) -- A district court has rejected Sprint Nextel Corp.'s appeal of a decision that disallowed eight spectrum-clearing reimbursement claims Sprint leveled in DBSD North America Inc.'s bankruptcy case.

Judge Victor Marrero of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York signed off Tuesday on a decision and order affirming the challenged Sept. 30 bankruptcy court order.

That order rebuffed Sprint's argument that the nine DBSD debtors were jointly and severally liable for reimbursements for clearing spectrum band.
