Schottenfeld Group, SEC Reach $1.2M Galleon Deal

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 3:54 PM EDT) -- Schottenfeld Group LLC, a trading firm that had three members implicated in the Galleon Group insider trading case, has agreed to a more than $1.2 million settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

Judge Richard J. Sullivan of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday signed off on the settlement, which brings to a close one of two pending cases against Schottenfeld.
