SGI Advisors, Accountants Seek Millions In Fees

Law360, New York (January 5, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Bear Stearns & Co. Inc. and KPMG LLP, two companies that helped steward Silicon Graphics Inc. through Chapter 11, have asked a bankruptcy judge to approve fee and expense requests totaling more than $5 million for the period leading up to Silicon Graphics’ plan confirmation on September 19.

Wednesday, Bear Stearns & Co. Inc., financial advisor to SGI, asked U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Burton Lifland to sign off on a request for over $1.5 million in fees and expenses incurred between May 8 and September 19, 2006....
