EU To Review Planned €320M P&G, Sara Lee Deal

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 6:25 PM EDT) -- The European Commission said Wednesday it would review Procter & Gamble Co.'s proposed acquisition of Sara Lee Corp.'s air care business at the request of five member states.

The €320 million ($470 million) transaction did not qualify for the European Union's “one-stop shop review” because the deal fell below the triggering turnover threshold, the commission said.
