Greenberg Traurig Patent Malpractice Suit Survives

Law360, New York (March 31, 2010, 7:28 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has denied Greenberg Traurig LLP's motion to dismiss a malpractice suit over its alleged failures in patent prosecution and litigation for light switch maker Leviton Manufacturing Co., which the company claims led to $100 million in damages.

Judge George B. Daniels of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York largely denied the dismissal bid in an order issued Wednesday.
