Kingdom Holding Inks $847M Growth Deal With Qatar

Law360, New York (April 5, 2010, 6:34 PM EDT) -- Kingdom Holding Co., controlled by Saudi royal billionaire Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal, said Monday that it has sold a major stake in its luxury hotelier, Fairmont Raffles Holdings International, in an $847 million deal involving the Qatari government and a Cayman Islands-based investment firm.

According to a Kingdom Holding statement, Cayman Islands-based private investment firm Voyager Partners Ltd. has acquired a 40 percent interest in Fairmont Raffles Holdings for a combination of cash and other considerations.
