High Court Denies Islanders' Nuclear Testing Claims

Law360, New York (April 5, 2010, 6:16 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court will not review a federal appeals court decision denying residents of the Bikini and Enewetak atolls further compensation for property taken for nuclear weapons testing during the 1940s and 1950s, despite claims that the U.S. government still owes them $1 billion.
