Supreme Court To Hear Home Health Worker's Case

Law360 (January 8, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- A home health care worker will get a second chance to plead her case over minimum wage and overtime pay before the U.S. Supreme Court, the court said on Friday.

Evelyn Coke sued her employer, Long Island Care at Home Ltd., in March 2002, arguing that under the Department of Labor’s Fair Labor Standards Act, she was entitled to earn minimum wage and overtime fees for her 40-plus-hour workweeks.
