Botox Maker Wins Trademark Suit Over Anti-Wrinkle Treatment

Law360, New York (June 15, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- The maker of the Botox anti-wrinkle treatment has won a $1.5 million judgment against a company that marketed a product with a confusingly similar name.

Allergan Inc., which makes Botox, said Tuesday it was awarded the judgment in a trademark infringement and unfair competition lawsuit against Los Angeles-based Mira Life Group Inc.
