Cooley Godward Names Swinton To Take Over IP Practice

Law360, New York (June 15, 2004, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Cooley Goodward, which recently lost intellectual property practice chair Jeffrey Randall to Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom, has named Steve Swinton replace him.

Swinton, a 10-year veteran of the firm, has litigated patent, copyright and trade secret cases across the country, according to Cooley Goodward.

In his new role, he will work closely with colleagues Frank Pietrantonio, chair of Cooley’s Patent Counseling and Prosecution practice, and Anne Peck, chair of the Trademark, Copyright & Advertising practice
