Parmalat, BofA To Head Back To Court: Source

Law360, New York (January 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- With the deadline for negotiating an out-of-court settlement now past, Parmalat SpA and Bank of America Corp. will be preparing to head back to court, a source involved in the case confirmed on Tuesday.

Hoping to work out a deal and delay depositions and evidence-gathering, a judge in November asked the two parties to present their ideas in writing on a settlement by December.

With the expiry date passed and no news of a settlement, it seems likely that the dairy giant and its ex-financial partner...
