Aloha To File Federal Suit Against Mesa

Law360, New York (January 9, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Aloha Airlines Inc. is moving its antitrust case against Mesa Air Group Inc. to federal court, saying the budget carrier is using Aloha’s confidential information to compete in Hawaii’s inter-island air market.

The federal case is expected to be filed Tuesday, according to Aloha spokesman Stu Glauberman.

“Upon further legal review of the federal antitrust laws, and given findings of Federal Bankruptcy Judge Robert Faris in the Hawaiian Airlines matter, we believe our claims would be best pursued in the federal court system,” said David A....
