Hyundai Challenges Steel Anti-Dumping Duties

Law360, New York (April 13, 2010, 5:46 PM EDT) -- South Korean steel company Hyundai Hysco has filed suit in an effort to evade anti-dumping duties it was assigned by the U.S. Department of Commerce in March following an administrative review.

Hyundai filed suit Monday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, taking issue with several methods used by the U.S. to calculate the anti-dumping duties.

In the 15th administrative review of anti-dumping duties on certain corrosion-resistant carbon steel flat products from South Korea, Commerce found that Hyundai, Union Steel, Pohang Iron & Steel Co. Ltd....
