Barrick's Cortez Hills Gold Mine Gets Green Light

Law360, New York (April 15, 2010, 12:27 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has allowed Barrick Gold Corp. — the world's biggest gold mining company — to keep working on its Cortez Hills mining project in Nevada while the U.S. government conducts further environmental reviews, rejecting a bid by a group of Indian tribes to halt the project.
