Final Plaintiff Drops Claims In Chinese Garlic Suit

Law360, New York (April 15, 2010, 4:36 PM EDT) -- The final plaintiff in a U.S. Court of International Trade suit over Chinese-imported garlic has dropped its case, closing the book on litigation challenging duty rates the U.S. government imposed on Chinese exporters.

CIT Judge Richard W. Goldberg on Tuesday granted a dismissal motion from Taian Ziyang Food Co. Ltd. on grounds that Ziyang could not continue pursuing relief following prior dismissals of other plaintiffs.
