NASA Lab Worker Alleges Bias Over Intelligent Design

Law360, New York (April 15, 2010, 5:14 PM EDT) -- An information technology specialist at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory filed suit Thursday alleging the lab’s management violated his rights by prohibiting him from discussing Intelligent Design with his co-workers and discriminated against him because of his beliefs.

In a suit filed in the Superior Court for the State of California, David Coppedge accuses the lab of mistaking his earnest efforts to engage his co-workers in scientific discourse with proselytizing and discriminating against him and demoting him.
