Indirect Purchasers Reach $25M Deal With SRAM Makers

Law360, New York (April 16, 2010, 2:53 PM EDT) -- Six semiconductor product makers, including Micron Technology Inc. and Toshiba Corp., have struck a $25.4 million settlement with a class of indirect purchasers in order to exit multidistrict litigation over the alleged price-fixing of static random access memory.

The purchasers asked for a June hearing on preliminary approval of the settlement, which could reach millions of consumers who purchased SRAM from 1996 to 2006, according to a motion filed Thursday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California.
