Grasso Fights To Keep His Controversial Payout

Law360 (January 11, 2007, 12:00 AM EST) -- Dick Grasso has told a court he deserves to keep every cent of the famously generous compensation package paid him on his departure as chairman of the New York Stock Exchange.

Fighting a court order demanding he give back a great portion of the $140 million retirement package, the beleaguered ex-chief is insisting he earned all of it.
