Law360, New York (April 19, 2010, 5:42 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Supreme Court has agreed to hear a dispute between a Nevada resident and a Bank of America NA unit over whether bankruptcy courts should deduct the ownership cost of a vehicle when calculating disposable income for a Chapter 13 debtor who isn't making payments on the vehicle.
The court granted a petition for certiorari filed by Jason M. Ransom, a Chapter 13 debtor, in an order list released Monday.
