US Steel Balks At Duties On Korean Steelmaker

Law360, New York (April 23, 2010, 3:10 PM EDT) -- U.S. Steel Corp. has accused the federal government of skimping on anti-dumping duties imposed on a South Korean steel exporter, saying officials improperly determined the dates of Hyundai Hysco's U.S. sales to arrive at a dumping margin of 3.29 percent.

The sales date determination by the U.S. Department of Commerce is not supported by substantial evidence and is otherwise not in accordance with law, U.S. Steel said in a complaint filed Wednesday in the U.S. Court of International Trade, the latest in a string of suits...
