Microsoft Wants New Venue For Software Patent Spat

Law360, New York (April 22, 2010, 3:32 PM EDT) -- Microsoft Corp. has asked a federal court in Texas to overturn a magistrate judge's refusal to transfer a suit accusing the technology giant of infringing a speech recognition software patent, saying it has far deeper ties to Washington state than the plaintiff has to Texas.
