No New Trial In St. Croix Demolition Contract Dispute

Law360, New York (April 22, 2010, 2:17 PM EDT) -- A federal judge in the U.S. Virgin Islands has turned down contractor Bennington Foods LLC's attempt to get a new trial in the breach of contract case it brought against St. Croix Renaissance Group LLP over demolition on an old refinery.

U.S. District Judge Harvey Bartle III of the District of the Virgin Islands ruled Tuesday there was no basis for a new trial following a jury verdict in St. Croix Renaissance's favor in January.
