Chu Calls For Revolution At Senate Energy Hearing

Law360, New York (April 28, 2010, 7:17 PM EDT) -- Energy Secretary Steven Chu told U.S. senators Wednesday that the world would need “nothing short of a new industrial revolution” to transition to a sustainable energy future that mitigates climate change and helps the U.S. still meet its energy needs.

Chu testified at a Senate Committee on Appropriations hearing on national energy policies, saying that the U.S. must develop energy policies for the future of its economy, security and environment and that the effort is going to require nonpartisan collaboration from the Obama administration and Congress....
