Toyota Acceleration MDL Revs Up

Law360, New York (April 23, 2010, 1:30 PM EDT) -- The multidistrict litigation over allegations of sudden unintended acceleration problems with Toyota Motor Corp.'s vehicles is rapidly expanding, with 72 cases freshly transferred to the California federal court where the action is pending.

The cases involve questions of fact that are common to the six actions previously transferred to the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California, according to a filing Thursday by the U.S. Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation.
