Accenture Hit With Age Bias Class Action

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 3:42 PM EDT) -- Accenture LLP has been hit with a class action alleging the consulting and outsourcing firm discriminated against older information technology workers.

The plaintiffs filed the suit Friday in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, alleging a pattern of age discrimination in violation of federal and Minnesota law.

An Accenture spokesman said on Monday that the allegations were without merit.
