Calif. Assembly Panel OKs Emissions Threshold Bill

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 5:01 PM EDT) -- A California bill laying out the criteria state agencies must take into account when deciding if a project's greenhouse gas emissions would have a significant effect on the environment has cleared its first legislative hurdle.

The California Assembly Committee on Natural Resources passed an amended version of the proposal Thursday, sending the bill to the appropriations committee for further consideration.
