Widow Wants Toyota Rollover Case Reopened

Law360, New York (April 26, 2010, 4:40 PM EDT) -- A Texas woman has asked a federal court to reopen a liability lawsuit against Toyota Motor Corp. in light of allegations from Toyota's former in-house counsel that the company regularly withheld relevant information during discovery.

Raida Hindi, whose husband died in 2003 when his 1995 Toyota 4Runner rolled over, urged a judge to sanction Toyota and force former general counsel Dimitrios P. Biller to appear before the court, according to a motion lodged Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas....
