Porsche Recalls Panameras Over Faulty Seat Belts

Law360, New York (April 27, 2010, 5:22 PM EDT) -- Porsche AG has reportedly recalled all 11,300 of its recently launched Panamera model, citing a defect with the four-door sedan's seat belts.

When the front seats are in an “extreme forward” position, the defect can affect the locking mechanism on the seat belt mount, causing it to detach from its anchoring system when fastened or opened, the Stuttgart, Germany-based automobile manufacturer said Tuesday.
