China Hit With Dumping Duties On Coated Paper

Law360, New York (April 30, 2010, 6:15 PM EDT) -- The U.S. Department of Commerce has issued preliminary dumping margins as high as 135.8 percent on coated paper from China, though some Chinese companies will be subject to much lower duties.

Commerce on Thursday set a countrywide dumping margin rate of 135.8 percent for coated paper from China, with select companies receiving margins ranging from 30.82 percent to 89.71 percent. Meanwhile, a single rate of 10.62 percent will apply to all Indonesian coated paper.
