Chase Says Ex-Employee Stole Info For Morgan Stanley

Law360, New York (May 3, 2010, 4:53 PM EDT) -- Chase Investments Services Corp. has accused a former investment adviser who moved to Morgan Stanley & Co. Inc. of improperly soliciting Chase clients and making wrongful use of the company's confidential information.

The JPMorgan Chase & Co. unit filed a petition Friday in the Supreme Court of the State of New York for the County of New York requesting a restraining order against former employee Joseph Vicari and awarding the company damages.

Vicari allegedly joined WaMu Investments Inc., a subsidiary of Washington Mutual Inc., in 2005....
