Jordache Tries To Trim Actor Scalia's Trademark Suit

Law360, New York (May 3, 2010, 3:50 PM EDT) -- Apparel maker Jordache Enterprises Inc. is seeking to dismiss part of a trademark and breach of contract suit that accuses it of using actor Jack Scalia's likeness on hang tags without his consent.

Jordache filed a motion to toss several of Scalia's claims Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York, arguing that the claims fall victim to a statute of limitations.
