Class Counsel Win $3.2M In Nationwide Benefits Suit

Law360, New York (May 4, 2010, 3:04 PM EDT) -- Having recently approved a $27 million settlement in the case, a judge has awarded $3.17 million in attorneys' fees to class counsel for plaintiffs accusing Nationwide Mutual Insurance Co. of prematurely terminating policyholders' car rental benefits following an auto accident.

Judge James Gwin also awarded about $226,000 in costs to class counsel, according to an order filed Friday with the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
