Qui Tam Kickback Suit Against Stryker Booted

Law360, New York (May 5, 2010, 2:28 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has thrown out a qui tam case accusing Stryker Corp. and a doctor of engaging in a kickback scheme but has left the door open for the plaintiff to file an amended complaint.

Judge Robert Jonker of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Michigan granted a motion to dismiss from Stryker, Howmedica Osteonics Corp. and Dr. Hari K. Parvataneni on Monday.
