Conn. Legislators Pass Bill To Reduce Energy Costs

Law360, New York (May 5, 2010, 2:59 PM EDT) -- Connecticut's Legislature has reportedly passed a wide-ranging energy bill aimed at reducing energy costs and promoting renewable energy in the state, which has the highest electricity rates in the continental U.S.

According to the Hartford Courant, the Connecticut House of Representatives passed the bill 81-40 early Wednesday morning, following the Senate's vote of 20-14 late Tuesday night.
