Law360, New York (May 5, 2010, 3:07 PM EDT) -- A federal judge has given the green light to bankrupt chemical behemoth Chemtura Corp.'s $11.4 million settlement agreement in a putative securities class action accusing the company of misleading investors by covering up an antitrust conspiracy.

Judge Robert E. Gerber signed off on an order approving the settlement in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of New York on Tuesday, modifying the automatic stay on the case to allow for Chemtura to use its directors and officers insurance policy proceeds to deposit the cash...
